    About Us

In 2013, the Pacific Coast Farmers? Market Association (PCFMA) is celebrating 25 years of providing outlets for California farmers to bring fresh produce and other products directly to you. Begun in 1988, a public market format in Emeryville was one of the first farmers? markets. A year later, in 1989, PCFMA opened three more markets in the Bay Area: one in Danville, one in Oakland at Jack London Square, and one at the College of San Mateo. How we have grown since then! PCFMA now serves as the coordinator and operator for over 70 Certified Farmers? Markets in the San Francisco Bay Area.
