    About Us

    MISSION/VISION

Monument Impact advances economic and racial equity in Contra Costa County by integrating advocacy with critical learning opportunities to ensure immigrants, refugees, and community members with low incomes have the power, skills and relationships to secure living-wage jobs, stable housing and good health.

We envision a more equitable Contra Costa County where everyone, regardless of where they come from or how much money they have, thrives and plays an active role in the region’s social, economic and civic life.

    ABOUT MONUMENT IMPACT

Monument Impact is a Contra Costa County-rooted organization advocating for equity and justice for local immigrants, refugees, and community members with low incomes - in this critical moment as we look to heal and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since we started, we’ve advocated for these communities, offering legal clinics for tenants, winning local tenant protections, and offering a variety of direct service programs that support our community members’ education and job opportunities, physical and mental health, and financial resilience.
