About Us

FUNKMODE is a dance studio specializing in Hip Hop and Breakdance for kids and adults, as well as offering adult classes in jazz/contemporary, tap, twerk, fierce femme, and cardio dance for adults. You can also find FUNKMODE in over 20 local schools providing afterschool classes, teaching private lessons, and holding birthday parties and events at our Concord location. With a strong commitment to education, family, and FUN, FUNKMODE is honored to have received the award of ''Best of the Bay'' from Diablo Magazine for the last 4 years. Their mantra ''All Love'', which is graffiti'd on their lobby wall, sets the tone for their inclusive studio environment, where every student is celebrated for who they are, and welcomed into the FUNKMODE Family.
