Dental Patient Care Coordinator

We are a well-established, fast paced family dental practice that has been caring for our community since 2012. Our services include; general, restorative & cosmetic procedures, Invisalign, implant placement, same day crowns, conscious sedation services. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team! Someone who has the ability to communicate well, and positively connect with patients and our team. Our future team member must be flexible and willing to learn new skills. Customer service and a positive patient experience is a top priority for our office!

We are seeking someone with great phone skills that can communicate exceptionally well through multiple methods. Someone who is professional, kind, trustworthy and empathetic. Must be tech savvy; current working experience & knowledge of MicroSoft Office, Dentrix and Dental Intelligence. We are willing to train the right individual as long as the candidate has at least 5 current working years of experience in the dental industry.
This person would primarily be in charge of scheduling patients for their hygiene appointments, while keeping in mind all preferences & insurance details. The main secondary function would be to schedule patients for the Doctors’ recommended treatment ensuring the patient is aware of why they are coming in, insurance coverage & any financial obligations.

Responsibilities will also include personally reaching out to patients we have not seen in a while & assist them in next steps. We work with numerous specialist offices and this position would help the front team in ensuring mutual patients are being timely cared for and Dentrix is current with any changes. Being part of the front team also means we are greeting patients, answering phones and helping conclude their appointments.

We focus on what’s best for the patient with a strict philosophy of ‘Your mouth, your call.’ That said we would like this person to act as a ‘patient concierge’ and help guide them towards a solution. Besides scheduling treatment or hygiene for our patients, we also enjoy sending them cards for significant events and offer other special touches.
